Self Message System

The Self Message System is a realisation functioning as a video (the stationary frame showing the artist sitting on the pier, generating the echo spreading on the lake), and as a performance (the artist wearing a fox fur, with sandpaper on wrists, indulges in washing herself in the manner characteristic for animals – by licking and rubbing). These intimate and limited to a minimum gestures dwell in the realm of ​​research and endeavours to restore the relation between humans and nature. In the performance the artist by injuring herself wants to point out the jeopardy of the self-preservation instinct privation among people.
